Something similar happened to me, except I still don't know what it means. I'm not sure how it is spelled but people have been calling me it since I was born. I think it is spelled "Phuckin Idy Ot".

No different than myself. my family is german and the always called me "little fehler" translated that means little mistake in german.

Yes I know what you mean. My family is Mexican and they call me babas which means drool but they don't say it to offend me or anything just an odd loving nickname I suppose.

Nicknames my relatives have...."see go" - dead dog, "see-yow wah"- soya sauce wah (cos they were cheap and gave him sauce rather than food) and "dai doc see"- large pile of.... Bat-chi-jai is probably pretty affectionate in terms of Chinese.
