Today, I found out the tattoo symbolising my marriage turned out to be more permanent than the marriage itself. FML

Irony claims yet another victim. You never, ever tattoo someone's name on your body unless it's to respect someone close to you. If you're romantically involved with that person, it's just retarded, because shit can and does like to happen.

And THAT'S why you don't tattoo other peoples' names on your body.

#34 - AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AT YOUR EX LMAO I'll bet he's gunna be kicking himself for YEARS...1 is good...but 3?!?!?!?!?!?!...good...*******...JOB *props*

Yeah. I've got a tattooed wedding ring. And a pending divorce.

The rule is if the person is DEAD or related to you by blood. You can't change your family (no matter how hard we all want to) or get in a fight with a dead person. @OP: uhh, yeah, you DEFINITELY should have known better than to tattoo your S.O's name onto yourself, what if they became an ax murderer and you had to disassociate yourself!? Or worse, became politicians... *shudder* There are plenty of reasons other than break-up not to tattoo someone's name onto your body! Still, sucks.

I heard tatoos get all shriveled up with your skin when you get old. Thats why i like temporary ones. Even if they are kiddish.

and that's why we have wedding rings, kids.

#14 - they deserve it because they knowingly and willingly put a permanent "I was married to this person" mark on their body. Now it'll cost them a lot more to get it off. If someone drugged you and put the tattoo on your forehead, then broke up with you, then yeah, that and FML. This one's a definite YDI.
