Today, I found out why my girlfriend of 8 months has never agreed to stay the night before. Now I have a 4-month old mattress that needs replacing, and a 23-year-old bedwetter for a girlfriend. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I went to see a horror movie. It ended up scaring her so badly that she refused to leave our bed all night long, even to pee. I have to clean the mattress now. FML

Meanwhile, somewhere else on FML. "Today I felt comfortable enough with my boyfriend to stay the night with him in spite of an embarrassing problem. I did it because he kept pressuring me. You are an arsehole to your girlfriend. You have made it clear you aren't the boyfriend she needs as you posted something that appears personal to her over the internet so you can get some sort of sympathy. yes she should have told you, or atleast had been prepared to stay over. But it is quite clear that she obviously didnt trust you. I hope you are happy you not only made an arse of yourself, but just proved to everyone and most probably her that you aren't a trust worthy boyfriend.

Ew. 23 years old and is still wetting the bed? She needs to see a doctor or something, that isn’t right. I mean, it could have been worse... But she really needs to do something about that... whether its a physical condition or a mental one...

People can wet the bed right up into their 40s. Sometimes there is little or nothing you can do about it except buy a waterproof sheet, grin and bear it. I think your ignorant attitude is more disgusting than her wetting the bed.

I'm 19 years old and still wet the bed. It's an awful disorder that I'm extremely embarrassed about. I can understand why your girlfriend would not have told you beforehand. If you love her, you will support her and stay with her. As far as your mattress goes, stop being a prick. Buy a mattress pad and get the heck over yourself.

You shouldn't be mad at her. It's a medical condition and she can't help it. I know cause I have it. It sucks. And I don't blame her for not telling you. You wouldn't believe how many overnight parties that I had to make a dumb excuse for because of it. It's completely embarrasing.

Bleach the mattress, it'll be perfectly fine. Then, ask your girlfriend if she would feel offended if you bought rubber sheets for when she spends the night. You put them on under the regular sheets, and voila. Just tell her that you love her and want to be with her irregardless of this problem and you can find a solution.
