Today, I found out why we've had to replace 3 washing machines this year. My sister thinks that "huge capacity" means "load the washing machine until no more clothes will fit." It blows the motor every time. She's 31. FML

Today, after spending $300 replacing a dryer and getting the vents cleaned out when our tenants complained their clothes weren't getting dry, my husband and I realized that it was actually the washing machine that was broken. FML

Today, I noticed that my clothes had shrunk. My mother seemed to be having trouble with the new washer and dryer so I tried to show her exactly how they work. After my explanation she said, "I know how they work. I shrank your clothes to give you some incentive to lose all that belly you got." FML

Today, at the laundromat. I loaded a huge load into the top dryer, put all the quarters in, and started the bottom one. I realized my mistake when I came to check on it. FML

Today, after my washing machine broke yesterday in the middle of a cycle, I went and spent $1400 on a new one. Also today, my dryer started to smoke and almost caught my clothes on fire. There goes another $1000. FML

Today, I finally got around to doing laundry. The washing machines in my condominium building take about an hour to do a load. When I returned to throw my clothes in a dryer, I realized they were never washed in the first place. I used my card and detergent to pay for another person's laundry. FML

my dad's 49 and does the same thing... he'll pack the washing machine so tight that when it's time to go put it in the dryer, the stuff in the middle is still bone-dry cuz the water couldnt get to it... i'm thoroughly amazed it's lasted for the 11 years we've had it

OP, your sister sounds like she's low suds and limited capacity. Not the brightest bright in the spectrum, is she? Hope you can rinse some sense into her muddy mind! Give her the extended spin cycle and rinse her idiocy throughly. Don't forget to use some brain bleach, she needs it!
