Today, I gave my mother a pre-prepared deposit envelope with my fortnightly wage in it, in cash. I tell her exactly where the deposit box is and what to do. I'm now desperately calling the bank because my mother accidentely put my $1200 deposit in the little trash can for receipts under the ATM. FML

Don't blame mom because you were too lazy to make your own deposit. YDI for being "pendejo" as we say in Spanish. If you want it done right, do it yourself.

dude, you should know better to do these things yourself than to giving it to a mother who didnt know how. I'm pretty sure you knew she didnt know how to deposit it since you explained it to her. i'd say YDI, but damn, that sucks :T
