You can't say you didn't see it coming OP. You really can't blame her for wanting a divorce, and it was smart of her to wait till New years. If she wasn't happy in the relationship, just let her go. Everyone deserves someone special,including you OP. Hopefully , by next year you'll find someone who loves you.

We don't have all the information here, so no one can really say anything positive or negative about this divorce. Plus, some people actually do just spring divorce up on their spouses because they, themselves, fail to communicate their own feelings until it has reached a crisis point. There is just too little information.
