agreed. although I can see how it could've come across as creepy and manipulative, I think he was just honestly trying to be cute. "love, will you go grab my phone off the counter?" "only if you give me a kiss first" that's not blackmailing someone into kissing you, that's just a cute, harmless encounter that has the potential to be taken the wrong way if read incorrectly.
I think it's cute. He is interested in u so maybe u can give him a chance.
It shows he a nice guy and maybe you should be a better person
I don't get why people on here are always so touchy about people hooking up but not having interest in dating the person. Honestly that was a douche move of him to force you to go on a date with him to get your personal belongings back. FYL OP good luck
just do it, you got laid, you get your wallet back, and you get a free meal. sounds like a triple win here.
He is probably interested in her and maybe has no idea that she isn't. Chances are that he is telling her that in a joking manner and hinting that he wants to go farther than a hook up. If she isn't interested, she should be upfront and honest and ask for her stuff back anyway. If he doesn't, then she can report it to the police. She has evidence that he has it and his contact info. Really not that big of a deal.
****, I would call the ******* cops... That's blackmail
it's people like you who give guys a bad name. he's not "blackmailing you" so much as he is joking around just to get to see you again. odds are he'll give it back regardless, but be thankful he doesn't just leave your wallet on a park bench in a shitty area of your city and hope that somebody else will return it. grow a pair, get your wallet, and learn from your mistakes...
This isn't even about the one night stand. This is about her overreacting to a guy trying to ask her out in a way he thinks sounds romantic. IM SURE he believes she's interested in him. All that needs to happen is she says no. He will give her the wallet back. Stop assuming everyone involved with these FMLs is insane or a lunatic, assume they're people just like every one of you commenting on here. The one night stand is irrelevant. No wrong was done by OP or the guy in regards to the one night stand. This isn't even really an FML. She's just not comfortable rejecting him by the sounds of it. Just a weird situation that was misinterpreted by OP. He's going to give the wallet back even if you say no. He just thinks you're into him and that it sounds like a cute way to ask you out. Which if you WERE into him, probably wouldn't have come off as creepy at all. I'm done.
You deserved it 110% and you're the hole where poop pass through. No, actually you're worst than that. You give women a bad name.
Keywords
Not saying he's right or wrong for using her wallet as an excuse to go on a date with her, but she used him. She wasn't interested in him, so instead she used him for sex and probably toyed with his emotions, which is a very wrong thing to do.
Walk of shame #2 coming right up!!
