Today, I got a text from a guy I hooked up with. I'm not really interested in him, so I rushed out of his house last night. He was letting me know I left my wallet at his house, and if I want it, I'll have to let him take me to dinner. FML

Today, I went to dinner with an amazing guy. At the end he said he had to go to the washroom. 15 min later he was still MIA, so I figured he'd ditched me with the bill. I paid and left. 10 min later he texted me, asking where I was. Turns out he hadn't ditched me. He was having "stomach issues." FML

Today, I got a chance to have dinner and a movie with a girl I've liked for a while. I ran late, so in a hurry to make the movie, and trying to be smooth for her, I told the waiter I'd "take care of him" if he made it fast. He did. Not saying he's right or wrong for using her wallet as an excuse to go on a date with her, but she used him. She wasn't interested in him, so instead she used him for sex and probably toyed with his emotions, which is a very wrong thing to do.

Having a one night stand is not "taking advantage". The guy most definitely consented to a one night stand and he has now stolen her wallet and is forcing her into a situation she did not want to be in. Here is a good trick to see if something sexist: if you reverse the genders of the people involved, do you react differently? Does the girl who kept her one night stand's wallet to trick him into a date now deserve the words " crazy stalker bitch"? Congratulations, this is sexist!!

Okay, everyone saying she deserved it needs to think about it. It's not her fault. OP doesn't have to go on the date if she wishes not to, and your peer pressure isn't helping. Instead of giving into his demands, she should notify the police, since technically he's a 'thief' for possessing her wallet. Seriously guys, get your heads out of the sand. She has rights, and she can do whatever the hell she thinks is right.

I'm sorry, I must've missed the comments that said she had to go on the date. Cuz, you know, there aren't any. I agree that him blackmailing her is a total red flag, but the whole situation could've been avoided had she not slept with someone she wasn't interested in and then rushed out of his house to get away from him.
