Suck to be you for having to suffer it, but maybe you should have asked what he liked before doing it? I mean it seems obvious to me that he didn't want a bush, but maybe he just wanted some trimming, not a puberty reverser. I know I sure as hell don't want a bald mound. A nice landing strip is always a good compromise. As long as you maintain the grounds.
