Today, I got called out of class to talk to some cops. Turns out my car was involved in a hit and run accident, while I was in school and there was no possible way it could have been me. But since they have no one else, it's my fault. FML

Today, I received a call from the police about a car accident that I was a witness to. As the only witness who stopped to help, I was remembered by the other cars involved. They're blaming me for the accident. The cops want to talk. FML

Today, I hit a car while trying to park. Assuming that no one saw, I moved my car and parked somewhere else. Hours later I get a call from the university police. While backing up to go to the police station I hit another car. FML

Today, a car hit me. I didn't get hurt, but someone called 911. The old woman who had hit me got out of the car with no problem to look at me, and gets back into the car. When the police arrive, she pulls out crutches and said I made strange faces and made her hit me. I got blamed. FML

Today, while I was walking to class, I was hit by a car. The driver stopped to let me cross in front of her, started moving again, hit me, and then yelled at me, saying it was my fault for walking in front of her. FML

Today, I was approached by a policeman who asked me if I was the owner of the green Camry. Turns out my parents decided to teach me a lesson for lying where I had been by reporting the car stolen. They also wouldn't answer my one phone call. FML

Today, I was on my way to college when I got in a car wreck with none other than my professor. My car was totaled and couldn't drive, but his could so I missed class, but he still made it. The end result? He marked me as an "unexcused absence" and gave me a zero. The accident was his fault. FML

Yeah, if they hauled you out of class to just talk, thats one thing. However, if they charged you, then they would need definitive proof that it was you, either some sort of video surveillance, eyewitness accounts, etc. Based upon what you stated, you should not be charged for something of that. The alibi of being in class would be sufficient to clear you of charges. Now, if it was still your car involved, then yes, further action may be needed, such as if you lent it to a friend for while you were in class, or if it was stolen. Could even be a case of a falsely identified vehicle. Or, in a different situation, they could be following up on an accident you may have been involved with at some time you werent in class...

Is that the only reason why people are constantly picking on Snickerdoodle? Weird. In regards to the FML, I don't much believe it. You either weren't in class and distinctly lack an alibi or you were and they have to move on. The police get a lot of spiffy liberties for their jobs, but throwing whomever they want under without clear evidence otherwise isn't one of them.

any lawyer worth his retainer will get you off the charges.... they have no case. it would be like someone having their gun stolen and someone got shot with it and if they can't find the shooter, they blame the original owner. bullshit. they probably think you lent ur car out to a friend to cut class and want you to rat them out. cops say a lot of shit and try to talk a good game when interrogating. **** cops!!!!!!!!!
