Today, I got fired from my job as a postman, which I started yesterday. They fired me because I failed to deliver a bunch of papers to a road that no longer exists. FML

It's more likely that the road was just renamed. Unfortunately for OP the damage is done. I live on a "rd" but it used to be a "cr" (County Road). Sometimes our mail gets lost.
