You didn't notice when your belly button was being pierced that it was off-center? Or were you on some sort of pain meds and didn't feel the piercing? I've never gotten a piercing before, but from what I've heard it's painful enough to notice what's going on, and I don't see how you couldn't have corrected the guy... still I might be ignorant of a key fact. Other than my confusion, this does suck, but it's not an FYL.

That's funny, I have a little freckle to the left of my belly button too. But your freckle sounds kind of gross for it to be possibly mistaken with a dot of a black -I assume- sharpie.

The piercing artists usually ask you if you're satisfied, and if you're not, they can fix it. I hope you didn't keep your mouth shut if they asked you. They won't get mad if you're not satisfied, it's their job to make sure the customer is happy.

#1, who the **** brainwashed you? I know many people who have their navels pierced who aren't *****, me included. I've only had sex with one guy, and I've been with him for over 7+ years now, so I really doubt I'm a *****. Get your head out of you ass every once in awhile and come to the real world.. OP, I'm really sorry that happened. I too have a freckle right by my belly button.. Luckily, the black sharpie looked different from my brown freckle. You could always let it grow shut and get it re-done. But I highly doubt that it is that noticeable to begin with.
