Today, I got my belly button pierced. The guy put a small dot with a sharpie right above the center of my belly button so he knew exactly where to pierce. I also have a small freckle noticeably to the left of center of my belly button. Guess which one he pierced through. FML

Fail. What idiot can't tell the difference between a marker and a freckle?

My guess: He pierced through the sharpie dot?

sry OP. dnt wry tho, ive had worse luck. my bellybutton ring ripped clear out. it rly hurt. but it was a freak accident. now i got the bottom of it pierced instead. =]

#1-- I'm the girl who posted this FML... and the best part about reading your comments is that I just sent in my deposit to go to Columbia University in the fall. #8 school in the country. Wait... is that in the top ten? Huh. Weird.

YDI...wouldnt you say something when he started to pierce the wrong spot?

That is scary, I want to get mine done and I have one just off center, but if they chose that instead of the sharpie it isn't THAT off center. And I know how it goes, I got my second ear peircings done and they marked and did them....and they are so off people noticed all the time, so I let them close.

farmgirl's making me nautious. piercings are not contingent on intellegence. but words are.

did you look away in fear? you could have just said something, sheesh

Ooopsy daisies! :o Lol and i am too #17. they make it pretty obvious.. :P

To the people saying: 'Why didn't you say something as he was doing it"... As someone stated before, normally you lie down to get your navel done, so you can't really see much of what they're doing. To "farmgirl" or whatever your name is: How do you know how many girls have their navels pierced in your school? Do you all wear swimsuits as your school uniform? Hmm.. Seems quite fishy if you ask me. To OP: That sucks. Mine started to reject, and then halfway through rejecting, it randomly stopped, so the skin covering the piercing is pretty much half of what it should be. I've had it for a little over 6 years though and people only notice when I point it out, so I'm sure you're fine.

THAT HAPPENED ON MY EAR! and i had mine done when i was 11 so they wont heal up... but one is really low :(
