Today, I got my belly button pierced. The guy put a small dot with a sharpie right above the center of my belly button so he knew exactly where to pierce. I also have a small freckle noticeably to the left of center of my belly button. Guess which one he pierced through. FML

Farmgirl, quit being so ignorant. I just graduated from a top private college as valedictorian in my major, and I did it all with a belly button piercing. And guess what, no one cares about the private college thing. you can pump yourself up all you want with your private college nonsense, but I guarantee that you're some fat girl sitting in your dorm crying. Anyway, OP, complain and see if you can get some really cute, really free belly rings from the piercing place. If you have really cute jewelry, maybe people won't notice it's off-center :) And, chances are that your body will reject it a little, and it'll even itself out.

#1 is an idiot. I'm a freakin' tom boy and far from a ****, and I have two belly rings. The only way the OP might have deserved it is if she went to a shitty place to have it done. It's really not that bad anyhow. If you take it out right away, it'll barelly even scar, and belly button piercings hardly hurt. The piercer would probably re-do it for free after this one closes up, though maybe it would be a good idea to go somewhere else next time.

And #21, when you get your belly button pierced, you lie down and can't really see what they're doing, so by the time she could have noticed, it would have already been too late. But hey, you take a bit of a risk trusting somone to pierce you.

you know they can take it out and do it again right? its not like a tattoo.....piercings can be re-done. #21--from personal experience, belly rings are one of the least painful piercings out there, especially for surface piercings, and they last less than 10 seconds in total, so it's not like she needed to be in a drugged stupour. just explain the situation and they'll probably fix it.
