I'm in the same boat. I'm allergic to aloe. and my akin doesn't absorb sunscreen.
how are u allergic to aloe and idk what else to tell u but 25 im sure OP is talking about the after effects like peeling and itching once your out the sun you are no longer "burning" you're "burnt" so if you allergic to aloe next best things are 1.shea butter 2.vitamin e oil 3.coco butter they make the itch sooo much better and drink lots of water it keeps your skin hydrated to im just getting over sun burn so i know the feeling
use plain yogurt.. not vanilla just 100% plain yogurt.. its a hundreds year old treatment.. i got a second degree burn on my shoulders, blistered all over.. i used plain yogurt and the blisters were gone in 2 days, the burn was 3 days after.. u dont peel much cuz it super moisturizes and if its cold from the fridge it works like ice almost.. just put a thin coating on and leave it for about 15 minutes then rinse it off with cold water.. hope that helps :)
I'm allergic to aloe too! It must have sucked to discover that ontop of a sunburn =(
I'm an esthetician, use oatmeal to calm the reaction and ice water to cool your skin. you can also use noximea to relieve the pain at night
i got my first sunburn a couple of months ago,but deserved it...it hurt and aloe only soothed for about five minutes:(it hurt sooo much!
