sorry to say it but great parenting, if you were great parents you would have taught him right from wrong. And never steal from anyone , what about earning money from a job? instead of stealing it .

A person can be brought up very nice with good morals. OP's son is obviously 18+, probably doesn't live with his parents and are easily influence by today's culture. Telling your son "Oh robbing a bank is wrong." won't solve anything. It's not OP's fault. It's the son's fault for failing to see the good things the world gave him. A family, and a home.

Be his manager. Try to get him a deal with MTV. I can totally see a reality tv show on their network about loser criminals who robbed banks rotting in jail.
