This reminds me of prom night. I was set up on a date with a friend of a friend because the friend I was going with backed out a week before prom. We met there, had a good time then the friends I was doing the after prom stuff with and I decided to go to McDonald's. We invited h8m and he said no. We get there, ordered and sat down and who should walk in but my date and his mom!
Double date
It looks like mom can't let her son go
I assume you won't be returning his calls, then?
The closest thing I can think of to this being OK is if he wanted to arrive with someone just as a safety thing, given you met online, and his mother happened to be the one person available. And then have her leave straight away of course. I'm kinda guessing that didn't happen, but who knows. It's good to be safe!
That's why I dread meeting people in real life that you only know online!
I think you were suppose to bring your dad... it only seems right!!!
Could have been like the Duggars and the guy needs a chaperone to make sure he controls his desires while he courts you for marriage ?
Maybe the mum wanted to check that she wasn't a predator? Anyone can pretend to be a female, it'd be safe if she went there to check at first
Online dating: Not even once.
