I mean if her life is really just oh-so-tragic and she hates herself enough to be willing to kill herself I'm sure she'll spare you before she spares herself. unless she's an unbelievably selfish, attention seeking douche bag like a lot of people who broadcast about their cutting are. good luck.

She obviously has some issues, so tell upfront that her attitude isn't healthy & try to offer her some counseling. Hopefully she isn't going to pull a dramatic stunt just for attention, cos that'd be lame. If she threatens you even more and refuses help, that relationship's gonna get toxic REALLY fast.

People like this are morons. Like I'm supposed to be worried about this. If these neanderthals want to kill themselves, I say we let them. I'm certainly not going to get all choked up about people who threaten to commit suicide and expect us to give a shit. If this ever happened to me, I would immediately report this to the nearest mental institution. The only reason I wouldn't break up with her immediately and not care what she does afterward is because some people might consider me legally responsible for her death, and I could be fined, sued, or thrown in prison. I do not care in the least what these people do to themselves.

Help her get back on her feet, then. Either you'll fall in love with her in the process and you two will grow close, or she'll be stable enough that she can handle the breakup.

Here's what I would do: 1. get her to see a professional 2. brush it off: she might just be trying to prevent you from breaking up with her 3. (this one's not the best idea) be a total douche so she'll either break up with you or not be sad if you break up with her. but don't call her names or make fun of her cuz she might actually hurt herself.

Better yet, blow off #'s 1& 3, lust get away from her.
