If he's that good at 5, when he grows up he probably will work there
Lions Ha!
I'm sure the kid just pointed something out, like: "Don't lions eat zebras?" or "Don't boy lions have manes?". I doubt he was being a straight-up smartass. At that age he probably doesn't even know how to be a smartass.
If your job is to educate people you should make sure you know yours stuff before you start. It may be OP's first day, but they should have done their research beforehand.
Some younger kids have obsessions with certain things and make it their mission to know everything about that thing. Don't worry about it OP.
Exactly, a child obsessed could get a phd in their field of interest easier than an adult probably.
Study more.
That means you're NOT smarter than a 5th grader!
If OP isn't "smart" enough to top a five-yr-old, then he's certainly not "smart" enough for a 5th grader, according to 42's logic.
Hahahahahaha. Look on the bright side, wait... there is none.

Personally, I don't blame you. There are some really bright 5-year-olds out there. But, either way shouldn't YOU, as the zoo employ know more?
Are you sure the kid wasn't lion?
