Today, I had to call AAA because not only did I lock my keys in the car, I also locked in my toddlers. FML

yeh. escape-artist toddlers. and you actually checked on this little factoid did you? Wikipedia? some bubs start their first steps at 10 months. so you're sure that any 'toddler' (10 months - 3 yrs) could escape the belted-in-their-seat situation and then figure out the locking mechanism? fascinating assertion. says a lot about you really.

I've totally done that. I actually backed into a ditch and jumped out to check the damage, leaving the car RUNNING with the toddler strapped into his carseat and asleep, and locked the door behind me. Had to call the fire dept to get him out (with car still in the ditch) before he got carbon monoxide poisoning. You're not alone, Mama!

How would he get carbon monoxide poisoning unless you also had a hose from the exhaust in through a window? Or a known CO leak, in which case it would be just as dangerous to be in the car while it is being driven! Obviously you needed to get your kid out but I think there's lots of other reasons more important than the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning!

wow murderer thats a stretch... it woulda taken quite some time for the kids to die unless it was really hot... and obviously she didnt actually kill them b/c at least to my knowledge u cant post fmls from jail:-p (this last part was sarcasm btw)

I don't feel sorry for you at all! How the hell could you have forgotten your toddlers to the point that you locked them in the car. Then to only call AAA when they were locked in the ******* car?! You need to rethink your parenting.
