my mom did that to me and my brother... she thought she had her keys, but I did... :)

Why would you even put this on here? I hate hearing about bad parenting moves like this =/

OP obviously felt bad about doing this, that's why they posted it on FML. This really isn't a "bad parenting story" though, just a simple mistake. Anyone who thinks the kids would suffocate is an idiot, as another poster said cars are not airtight. Also, as for breaking the window like some mentioned... Wow, just wow. If my wife did something like this and broke the window to "rescue the kids", I would have to assume she was retarded. Most taxis nowadays carry lock-out kits, and they can typically get to anywhere in 10-15 minutes. So these poor kids wouldn't have had to be "all alone" (with their parent inches away) for very long... What disgusting child abuse!

that isn't child neglect because they at least called to have the doors unlocked so op could get their kids out. if the parent just walked away, then I could understand why you would post that. but that wasn't the case.

runnerdude, AAA is a car service, learn your facts before you make assumptions about people.

she was probably rushing to the lawyer's to sue her ex's new wife

I hope they take away your kids, you dumbfuck. You don't meet the IQ requirements to have kids.

my toddler is 2 and can't get out of his seat, and doesn't know how to (purposely) unlock the door... toddler could be as young as 1 really, so you can't assume they could have let her in

Typically, at least in psychology, they don't consider a kid a toddler till age 2. This varies, you're right, but I'd call a one year old a baby.
