Today, I had to dig up my twin boys birth certificates for baseball registration. Turns out I had been calling both of them by the other twin's name for eight and a half years. FML

I'm not sure what's more sad; you haven't looked at your kids' birth certificate in eight and a half years, or you couldn't tell your own sons apart.

I would like to know how you now know bc of the birth certificate? There's nothing on a birth certificate that says anything about hair or eye color & even if it did that all changes, especially their eye color.

Weight, and time of birth/which is the eldest if they're one of multiples.

and you visually tell which child was born first? not likely. my friend is 23 and looks 12 her sister is 12 and looks 18. you can't use time of birth to visually tell which twin is older.
