Today, I had to dig up my twin boys birth certificates for baseball registration. Turns out I had been calling both of them by the other twin's name for eight and a half years. FML

Twin issues

Today, I got an X-ray and the nurse happened to mention the old break in my leg. Mom always said it was my twin brother who'd broken his leg. Can you see where this is going? I have now confirmed that at some point mom mixed me and my brother up, so we’ve being using each other’s names for 35 years FML

Today, I learned that being a twin really isn't that cool. After laughing at my twin brother for getting a speeding ticket he turns to me and says "It's not mine." Confused, I look at the ticket and see my name. He used my license. FML

Today, I found out that my parents have been lying about my birthday. Now it makes sense how they "lost the birth certificate" or how many photos of me as a baby are dated before I was actually supposed to be born, because "the camera must've glitched, we must've confused the date we wrote in the back of that card." FML

They are prob fraternal, not identical. Retained their hair color and she realized it. Legally switch their names, easier emotionly to the boys. #parentfail.

she realized that she was calling them by the wrong names because birth cert tells the time each baby was born. when twins are born drs put a mark on the foot to distinguish which is first which is second.so she knew which one was the oldest..... the birth cert only showed her that she got the names mixed up lol. for those that didn't understand.
