Today, I had to do a "damage report" on myself after going to the midnight premiere of Harry Potter. As I was waiting for the previews, a 20 year old man dressed as a house elf tackled and wrestled me for my seat. FML

Go, Dobby, go! That's what you sign up for when you go to an HP movie premiere, silly.

He was trying to destroy the Horcrux within you. Trust me, you will thank little Dobby later.

lol I watched it and a guy dressed as voldemort sat next to me

apparently ralph fiennes had to wear garters to keep his tights up whiling be voldemort. doesn't that... just knock a chunk off the scariness? haha

My friend saw someone dressed as Tonks... complete with purple hair, trench coat, and leather boots.

There was a lady dressed as the whomping willow. I thought it would have been funny if she walked around whomping people across the head. Or better yet, tackling them. Haha.

I had two friends break out their liquid latex and paint to create some pretty convincing voldemort costumes, complete with Elder wands and black Robes.

Dobby is a free elf, he can sit wherever he pleases.

Should've yelled "STUPIFY" at him and taken your seat.

why? Harry potter is the greatest movie ever

29, the movies aren't nearly as great as the books

31, yeah I agree but it's the movies being discussed at the moment

but hey it was worth it because the movie was so EPIC, am I right?

24, you are wrong. The movie was disappointing, so many details missed. But, compared to the other movies, it was pretty good.

how can you complain about the movie? it was perfect the way it was! If all the details were includes it would have been 5 hours long.

40, not really... They waste a lot of time in the movies. But I get that it's necessary to have the bangs and exciting scenes.

Harry Potter (the book) is really long and has alot of intricate details. I think the movie focused on the important things mainly and balanced out the details just right. Pretty sure you just don't like HP.

56... nah, I just have a special appreciation for the books

I would watch a 5 hour long Harry Potter movie ^_^. If it would include minor but important details I'm all for it. I'm STILL bitter about everything they took out from HBP.

Considering each page of a script is about one minute long, there is no way you could possibly include every detail into a movie. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has around 759 pages, so if you were to transfer that to film, you're looking at over a twelve and a half hour movie. No one, I don't care how much of a fan you say you are, is going to watch that in theaters. All the things they've added and taken out were done for a reason and obviously approved by J.K. Rowling. It's great that you appreciate the books and have such an attention to detail, but realistically, no movie is ever going to match the books.

It was still a great movie though

that half blooded **** u should of released your order of the penis and raped him in his chamber of secrets

"Dobby has got a sock," said Dobby in disbelief. "Master threw it, and Dobby caught it, and Dobby -- Dobby is free!"
