Actually the number of Poles going to England to look for job has been extremely high lately. The coach lines are being set up everywhere in Poland to earn a bit on this phenomenon. Unfortunately, $20 for a 3000km ride is certainly what it sounds like. They treat people like pigs, 'cause they know they're desperate to go there and earn some money. After they arrive, they meet mafia, scammers etc. and end up pennyless...

actually there are more Polish leaving England than coming right now, most having earned enough money for a better life back home since they joined the European union in 2004. Our economy is suffering for it too as they are generally good workers

It's not that the Polish immigrants (and others) are 'stealing' our jobs...it's that they show more dedication to work when half the British people would rather have dole and do bott-all. Stupid smoochers.

Well the dole isn't what it used to be, besides most people who are on the dole waste it in the bloody pubs. It's why we have so many pubs and you hardly see one going out of service. I've been to Ireland and we're as bad as them (pub wise) if not worse.

Mafia? not so much. your information is innacurate. they would pay euros, not dollars, to start with, and as Poland is now in the EU, it is 100% legal for them to reside in Britain. Plus if you were an illegal immigrant you would not use the channel tunnel to inflitrate the border. Think about it.
