Today, I had to sit patiently at the checkout at work, listening to my own father rant about how the twinkies he was buying were "twice the size back in my day", and how "you could buy a dozen of these suckers for just 10 cents." He didn't stop there. No, he tried to haggle over the price. FML

You know, OP and others who may have tried to argue over the price of Twinkies, I live very close to the company that makes them (Hostess) and would be very happy to talk them into raising the prices of said awful snack if enough people complain about the prices, since one of my relatives is in the marketing department. It'll make people think twice before they complain. ;)

At my store it's illegal for my family to come through my line, no family, no close friends, no significant others for fear that we might give them a good deal or extra money for some stuff for free
