God people on this site are so stupid... For boys (and girls!) of this age and even younger, there is nothing remotely sexual about this act. They don't even know what sexual means. All they know is that touching themselves feels good, so they do it, not knowing it is socially inappropriate or that it is considered sexual. Children have been known to touch themselves this way as young as in their mothers womb. Also, masturbation at this stage does not mean a seven year old is ejaculating; most boys cannot do that until around 12 or 13 years old. This is completely normal, and by telling our children otherwise we are breeding repression and sexual guilt where there should be none. Grow up and read a frickin book, people.
