Today, I had to write a huge lab for my physics class. It's worth my entire quarter grade and I use a program on a CD for graphing. My mom thought it was a computer game and hid the CD. She can't find it. The lab's due tomorrow. FML

Or worse is when the parents tell you to get off the computer and ban/kick you off/unplug the computer because they think you're on games when actually you're on an educational website.

I have officially decided that everyone saying the OP deserves it for being a procrastinating moron/dipshit/insult of choice AFTER the OP posted saying he had everything done except the graphs is possibly too stupid to breathe. (That means anyone from comment #45 on.) Seriously, don't people read the comments to see if there are explanations further than what can be fit in the rather limited space? I guess not, given all the idiots so quick to assume that because the project is due on an unknown 'tomorrow' (given that it may have been tomorrow from when this FML was written, not from when it was posted) that the OP is just a procrastinator and deserves it. After all, we all know that people who are about to fail something due the next day because someone took something important of theirs was just waiting until the last minute to do it. (That was sarcasm, just so you numbwits know.) That said, OP, I hope you found a way to do your graphs. Not your fault your mom can't be assed to make sure the CD she stole was actually a game.

My parents had the doc hide my foreskin when I was born. I look one to three times a day to see it's come back.

since when do teachers make one project worth an entire quarter?

My grade in one class is based on two projects, and in another class it's the final. Teachers are douches these days.

And this is why I hide my stuff before they do.

Welcome to Earth. We seem to have this problem a lot, so get used to it. At this point, whenever I can't find something, the first thing I do is ask, "Mom, where'd you put my ...?" because about 90% of the time that's what will have happened to it. And about half of those times she doesn't remember where she put it.

is this for high school or university? if it's for high school, get her to call the school explaining it is her fault and can you have an extra day or two. If it's university, well that depends on the individual lecturer...

#2, too big for his computer??? 1tb hdd, ftw! but I guess anyone w a mom like that can't afford to risk losing a nice computer at the hands of an overprotective mom that doesn't know when to leave things alone.

Don't let your parents, grand parents, uncle, aunts, siblings and maid touch your things. Me and my wife don't touch each other computers and related accessories without permission. We don't share our login passwords, programs and even desk too. ( except games & movies ) If you guys have school work, project, working on something important .. you must have back-up and don't let anyone touch 'em .. ( Touching external HDD may result dropping on the floor and you know it. ) Declare that to anyone especially to your parents .. they think they can at least clean your desk and you might lost something they have no knowledge.

Your mom is f-ing nosy, she should've asked first. I'd be ****** pissed!

It can't be that big of a deal if you're writing fmls about it. Stop wasting your time complaining and start looking for that cd, dammit!
