She probably wasn't aware of what she was doing. Some people throw punches & move around in their sleep. My bf used to have a bad problem with trying to literally kick me out of bed in his sleep all because he wasn't used to someone sleeping in he same bed as him.

I know someone who is that way as well doesn't matter who wakes her up she swings on whoever is there the entire family knows this so everyone is always really cautious when they try to wake her up she's a strong woman so this is not a love tap
