I'm French and it's so funny! The thing is whatever it's suppose to mean everyone would think about sex. At least in France. I'm sure they all understood what you meant, but it's still so funny to hear. There's a big chance they made fun of you... or they thought you were easily sexually exited :) Like when I learned what really meant "give it to me"... @#102: the French word is "préliminaires" (always in plural btw)
merde
you're ******* retarded it does mean i'm excited ******* dumbass
uhmm sweetie no it doesnt. it means im excited. i speak french, Im sexuellement excité thats im sexually excited smartiee.
Uhmm.. no it means I am excited. Je suis excité is passé composé. Now, if you added sexuellement to the end of it, then yes, it would mean I am sexual excited.
OMG té ****** kun kel genre de francophones eske C sa? ''j'suis excité'' ohh that's ''i'm sexually excited'' y pense probablement ke ''I miss you'' pi ''je te manque'' C la même calisse d'affaire.
They probably understand. I mean, yeah, I bet they're amused, but I doubt they actually think you meant it sexually.

Don't worry... I'm a native French speaker, and "je suis excité" isn't that bad and can be used with non-sexual things as well
Hahaha, they must think you have some great fun ;D
