Today, I learned that marriage isn't all roses and sunshine. Instead, it's digging an infected ingrown hair out of your husband's ass cheek because he can't reach it himself. FML

OP here! So, we're very open about our gross habits. We have no problem popping each others pimples and such. I was actually the one to point out the infection and asked if he wanted me to get it. I'm not grossed out by it, I simply found it funny that everyone always says what bliss being a newlywed is and here I am squeezing and digging and infected hair our of my husband!

At least you guys are comfortable around each other *shrug*

That's loyalty. He's lucky to have someone like you who is willing to help him like that.

That's true love right there.

Reminds me of when my hubby had surgery for the exact same thing and I had to cut the tape off from around his hole more so he could crap. It was too late, there was already crap stuck to the tape.

Ah, suck it up Buttercup. You haven't really loved until you've drained a boil in the upper crack region. Just saying. FML too.

AMEN! And that sucker was deep, just huge!

Wait until you guys are older. This is good training for the tests to come. Based on you as a couple passing this one, you will be together for many years more. It gets worse. Good job. Just use sufficient disinfectant, gauze, and rubber gloves. It is not that bad. If you are planning to have a family, especially if you intend to go natural, cleaning the childbirth tear wounds and the host of accompanying tasks, your husband will certainly have an opportunity to return the favor!

He can't touch his own butt? How strong is this person? That's a problem, how does he wipe his ass?

Ah Youth. Good for you for doing it but as the title of the book from Dr Seuss says 'Oh the Places You'll Go!' And while as a married couple many of them will be lovely, many...Not So Much. The human body can be a really unpleasant thing to deal with and if you and your partner won't be there for the tough parts (cleaning infected wounds, nasty sick bed sheets, etc) then you don't deserve to have each other for the good either, right?
