No, it seems no more harsh than it ought to. If you have sex, even protected sex, you need to be mature enough to face the consequences. Being male or female has nothing to do with it.

Let me start off by saying that your comment is informative and well worded. I assume he does not want a baby because they are expensive. To add to that, they can be loud (crying), annoying (crying at 3AM), and disgusting (vomiting in your mouth at 3AM). It's just a fact, every parent will admit that. Don't tell me that you've never thought these things. Other times, people simply do not want children. These do not excuse OP's boyfriend from being a total **** though.
