Today, I'm having heart surgery. The doc came in, donut in one hand and papers in another. While I was filling them out, his hands kept trembling, and he dropped the donut on the floor. He fumbled to pick it up and kept eating. The guy I'm entrusting my life to doesn't even respect the five-second rule. FML

I'd be more concerned about his trembling hands considering you're having heart surgery...

Just tell him you would prefer a different doctor.

id be more concerned with his inability to hold a doughnut

Hope all is ok! Maybe he gets really focused when he is actually performing his job.

Umm I'd be worried about not only the trembling hands with your heart but also he's not a clean person if he's still gonna eat that donut off the floor who knows what kind of bacteria he will be introducing into your chest cavity! B.V~ LPN student

Woah... Not someone I would trust at all!!

I'm sure they wouldn't have him perform the surgery. I hope.

He's probably a diabetic and needed some sugar in his system. Or he's just riding that sugar wave all the way to happy town

When I read the FML, that was my first thought. He was probably dealing with a low blood sugar. God knows if I was low enough to literally shake a donuts out of my hands, I wouldn't' think twice about eating it off the floor.

Have faith that he's an exceptional heart surgeon even though he's a klutz.

The five second rule is not real! It's it the same effect of what it would have sitting there in 5 minutes.
