Well now he knows what to do for the future.
Apologising for another post, but I just reread the FML. You only cooked it for one hour? Are you kidding me? You need to keep it on simmer for a while before the flavour is absorbed alone. The celery is the least of your problems, dude. I'm thinking YDI, now. It's nice to do something thoughtful, but do it right.
well #18 why werent your first words "thank you"? then u couldve said whatever the hell u wanted bout the quality. at least he tried!
Haha #25. He said it wasn't cooked enough. You probably didn't do a very good job. If you're gonna do something do it properly.
@8 "She should have thanked her lucky stars that her boyfriend wasn't going over there to ask for a ******** or something..." So that's something to expect from guys these days, and to be grateful when it doesn't happen?
I was wondering the same
What's with all of these guys dating bitchy women? And better yet, what's with all these guys bitching about the women that they choose to date? First the edible arrangement and now chicken noodle soup.
I've made chicken noodle soup from scratch and it does take quite a bit of time to make. Yes, it is incredibly sweet that you did this. No doubt about it. I don't know any guys that would even come by and visit me if I was sick, let alone call. But, I'm guessing she probably DID say thank you when you walked in, because usually when you knock on someone's door, the person answering doesn't look to see what you got them, and if its food, greedily eat it. Plus, sick people are a little cranky and most of the time, things won't taste right anyway. I was totally waiting for the punchline of this FML to be she's vegetarian. Was I the only one?
I picked both. FYL for the effort you put into the soup that she ignored. YDI for not cooking the celery enough.

Awww.. you're so sweet :). That girl doesn't deserve you...you sound like you have awesome boyfriend potential and I hope you find someone who really appreciates what you do for them.
Oh, she's probably just sick and cranky.
