Having a cold is no excuse for being bitchy, no matter how bad your headache is. If someone tries to do something nice for you you should be appreciative, even if they get it wrong. Be thankful he didn't under cook the chicken, can't get salmonella from under cooked celery...
YAWN
Lol. That's when you tell her to cry about it.
constructive criticism to be fair YDI
usually with constructive criticism you would start with, 'this part is good but....'
Even if the soup tasted terrible, it's still an incredibly nice thing to do. Still I feel like he's exaggerating, whose first words would really be something other than "thank you"? If she said it as an afterthought, at least she was honest. I don't think she was trying to be mean. If those were her first words though, that sucks, even if she was sick. But I can understand why she'd be upset that you wrote this on FML and didn't mention it to her! Oh and I also totally expected her to be vegetarian.
A good cook tries the food before serving it! YDI.
Wow. . . nice of you to go to all the trouble, but it just goes to show why Chef Ramsay always says to taste what you're preparing before serving it. It keeps things like this from happening. Next time just get progressive or something. . . hopefully you can handle that. YDI

Awww.. you're so sweet :). That girl doesn't deserve you...you sound like you have awesome boyfriend potential and I hope you find someone who really appreciates what you do for them.
Oh, she's probably just sick and cranky.
