Today, I made the decision to quit smoking while I was driving in my car. So I took my pack, crushed it and threw it out the window. I felt triumphant about this change I was making in my life, until the cop I didn't know was behind me gave me a ticket for littering. FML

Morals of the story- 1) Don't litter. 2) Don't smoke in the first place.

Well, if what you did truly made any difference in your life, I'd say the ticket is much better than lung cancer.

Smoking in public is the equivalent of urinating in a swimming pool. Its disgusting. Littering is also bad. If you're gonna smoke, do it private where people who want clean lungs don't have to breath your poison.

That's what you get for littering. Congratulations, you contributed to the Earth's depletion in a different way than blowing your disgusting toxic fumes into the air. A polar bear just starved to death because of you. I must say, though, I've never been more enraged than the time I saw a cop throw a cigarette out the window of his car.

YDI. The side of the road is not a rubbish bin.

Good for him. You broke the law dipshit.

All you nasty smokers litter every time you light up. Stop throwing your butts out the window you disgusting pigs.

I find it amusing you care more for the easily (relatively) replaced car than you do your difficult to replace lungs, or even more difficult to replace planet.

Littering != Self-control And quitting your self-inflicted addiction is not justification for breaking the law. Next time actually have a little REAL self-control and dispose of them properly. YDI
