Ok first off no one said the girl was cheating on her new guy. Secondly she clearly didn't have the feelings for you that she has for him. It doesn't make her a bad person it just means that she likes him more for some reason.

It doesn't say that the girl cheated on the OP. Honestly, it's likely you just weren't the one for her and either she tried to let you down gently or truly didn't feel a long-distance relationship worth it until she met her Marine. In any case, I don't think the ex-gf was being a bitch and this isn't so much an FMyLife as it is just life.

When I moved from Texas to Colorado, my ex did that same thing. He lived in Texas still and broke up with me because he "couldn't do it". A few days later, he's hitting on, and trying to be with, a girl from Canada :|

Well, at least he's doing something for the country and risking his life on a day to day basis so you can be upset about your girlfriend instead of being told who you can date/marry so suck it up and move on with your life
