Today, I moved into a lovely basement suite. Unfortunately, the 12 year old upstairs plays violin. She also plays baritone. She said she alternates each day. FML

If she's just that bad, you could be the neighbor that yells and hits the ceiling with a broom.

Well, what's wrong with that? I alternate between my cello and violin when I practice. Unless she's really bad, then FYL, OP.

You should take up trombone lessons then.

At least she alternates. You know what you can do though? Take up playing the drums!

Just give it a year or two and you'll be listening to your own private symphony :D

A baritone is NOT a wind instrument...it's brass. And FHL

Um.. A baritone is a wind instrument. It's not a WOODWIND instrument but it's still a wind instrument. All brass and woodwind are in the category of "wind instruments" as opposed to strings, percussion, etc.

Well...it wasnt specified either way it could be baritone horn or bari sax

Well people don't generally call Bari saxes simply "baritone." They do; however, refer to the brass instrument as such. Regardless of baritone saxophone or baritone (brass), my original point that it is indeed a wind instrument is still valid.

Coulda been worse; what if it was a person who played drums and electric guitar with a band?

I would suggest learning the contrabassoon. Practice often.

Dear FML: stop posting my comments twice. :P

At least she doesn't play the French Horn or the tuba.
