It's bad to keep condoms in you wallet because they could break easy in there. So maybe it's a good thing it's been a while, other wise you may have ended up with am unwanted baby.

It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. Maybe get a fresh condom though to make sure it's still good, not out of date etc. Maybe by now OP has less of a mark left in his wallet!
