haha. I was at my Nanny's house and made Kraft Dinner. After eating it and wondering why the cheese was brown, I looked at the expiration date: 2007. blahhh. I have no clue what I was thinking.
You shouldn't be so greedy! HAHA
My dad was in the military so we had an old cache of MRE's I ate about 20 of them last year. And they'd been expired for 15 years. But I didn't get sick. MRE's can probably last centuries.
MRE's are Meals Ready to Eat.
Old people always stock up and don't eat or use things but keep them my grandma keeps medicine that expired in 95'
a LITTLE sick...damn....i ate some week old ham and ended up in the hospital for 2 days. and my mom does that kinda stuff too...theres some yogurt that expired last year..and medicine from before i was born (i'm 15)

Oh damn. Didn't it have a smell of some sort?
Dude...the FIRST thing I check with canned food from anywhere is the expiration date. YDI for assuming everything in your parents' house is edible. We have canned/boxed food in this house from 10 years ago that my boyfriends' mom won't throw away cause "it's a waste of food", yet she won't eat it herself.
