Today, my parents got me a new computer for my birthday. They also took the liberty of throwing out my old computer, with 8 years of photos, videos, music, documents, emails, and bookmarks on it. But that's okay, I had a backup. They threw that out too. FML

Today, I worked a short shift at work, getting sent home early because it was slow. In the time I was gone, my family decided surprise me by rearranging my room and put in my new desk. They also surprised me when I learned that they'd spilled a slushie on my very expensive computer. FML

Wow, awesome! What kind of memory? Is it one of those new Corsair Dominators? These things will make your comp fly! And what kind of hard drive? I hope you didn't go for WD Green Caviars, they suck. Unless you buy a Raptor or SSD with them. Ooh, I can't wait till my next upgrade!
