Today, my parents got me a new computer for my birthday. They also took the liberty of throwing out my old computer, with 8 years of photos, videos, music, documents, emails, and bookmarks on it. But that's okay, I had a backup. They threw that out too. FML

Today, I worked a short shift at work, getting sent home early because it was slow. In the time I was gone, my family decided surprise me by rearranging my room and put in my new desk. They also surprised me when I learned that they'd spilled a slushie on my very expensive computer. FML

Today, I set out to organize my media files over several old hard drives, but I got so engrossed in creating intricate folders and subfolders that I forgot what I was organizing in the first place. My computer is now a labyrinth of folders titled "Stuff," "Things," and "What is this even?" FML

Who wouldn't get excited, not only do you get new parts for your computer, but you get a package in the mail. I can't remember the last time i got an actual package from someone without having to order it. @36: How doesn't more ram improve your computer? especially if the OP didn't have enough to run smoothly.

so what this is not an FML. i just got a video card shipped, and all 3 days of the shipping process i checked the tracking atleast 5 times a day. :D

How is this a FML at all? This deserves posting on MyLifeIsG, or at the very least, MyLifeIsAverage. It's a friggin hard drive, it's AWESOME!
