I find this FML was worded oddly, it's kind of unclear whether the issue is about the money or the mom having an Internet "boyfriend". The username makes it pretty obvious, but I feel like the last line seems to emphasize that the issue is her mom being new to internet dating. It would be more clear if it said something about needing that $1000 for rent, if the main issue is really about the money.
