Today, I overheard my mum tell my sister that she should make me a bridesmaid at her wedding. My sister scoffed, "She looks like Shamu, mum. I can't have THAT in my wedding pics." followed by laughter and my mum saying, "Touché." FML

@25 If OP is morbidly obese as her sister implied, being a bridesmaid might not be the best idea for her. Especially if all the other bridesmaids are slim, it could single OP and draw negative attention to her.

I don't think so. Refusing to have your own sister in you wedding because she's heavy is horrible and inexcusable. I wouldn't even do that to a friend, and that her mother agreed with it is even worse. If I was OP I'd just stop talking to the pair of them permanently. She doesn't need people like that in her life.
