Emmereen tells us more.
It didn't sound like they were, but I suppose I can give them the benefit of the doubt.

Were your classmates' names "Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan" by any chance? Together are they Wyld Stalyns?
But ask same people about the Kardashians and they can probably tell you in detail everything. *sigh*
And that's what this generation's stupidity has brought us. Well played generation next.... Well played
Well they arnt the only ones that dont know, i dont
That is a plot of a movie I'd like to see.
Meh I can see it. By the time Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure came out I had read hundreds of books and Joan of Arc was mentioned in none of them and most history through high school was American History I didn't have a single history class in the US Public school system that covered any other country's history. The only reason I even sort of knew about Joan of Arc was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and I didn't know much about her from that. The first time I actually learned about her was the movie The Messenger. And yes someone can be mentioned but that doesn't mean you have any clue who they are mentioning or why unless they go "Oh well she's" If I said "It's like someone killed Qui'Gon Jin all over again" some people will get it but a lot won't have any clue who I am talking about and have no reason to.

I think you only have one option, Start a hundred year war to end their stupidity.
I'm not sure if this is a failure in education or humanity itself
