Today, I paid $80 to change my cell number because my ex-girlfriend had been stalking me. To inform all of my friends of the change, I sent a mass text message to everyone in my phonebook. Including my ex. FML

FIRST: why the hell didn't you erase her number? SECOND: $80 are you f** kidding me? what company do have? I had a similar problem and all i had to say was that i was getting too many private calls at night and problem solved! no need to pay! THIRD: you got ripped off.

Yeah, who pays $80 to get their number changed?! I got mine for free, and I just went in. And they might've kept it so when she calls, they know it's her and not some random number, and they don't answer it. It's what I do. But I just don't do massive texts.

That's what I was thinking too. I have alltell and you can just have them change it for you. I think the only way it costs to change it is if you take a number from alltell and try to make it a Sprint number or some other carrier. I could be wrong though so don't quote me.

At&t charges like $30 to change it

Send me her number. BTW I used to work for Rogers Wireless and it was $25 to change the phone number. Sounds like you got shafted.
