Today, I picked up my car from the repair shop, drove two miles, and ran out of gas. I then walked to get gas, put a gallon of gas in the car, and tried to start it. The battery was too weak to start the car, and died on the spot. FML

Times like this make me glad AAA exists.

Perhaps an investment in jumper cables would be more ideal.

You should feel the heat up in Minnesota.

Well, up here in the north it IS actually scorching. It was 112 during the midday, which makes me think that you people in the south are just saying the average night temperature.

what's a bet OP's bank account is not looking so good , hope that car is worth it and that it all works out soon for you.

How do people manage to run out of gas? Even if the fuel gauge doesn't work you can still guess using the tripometer.

Sure you can guess.. and its very easy to guess wrong since mileage varies to an extent.

You all sound like a bunch of old folks complaining like that. ^.^

I guess you could say... The battery just... Ran out of gas YEEEAAAAAAA

That is what you get for having a Ford..

Omg that would suck. I have been in Texas during the summer and I didn't want to walk outside much less two miles. This is a legit FML

You'd think that a repair shop would fix those for you ahead of time.

No. "Yo, mechanic. My brakes don't work correctly." "Alright, here's new brakes. Oh and btw, I decided to do a thorough analysis of your car. You're low on gas and also, your battery's about to die. And while you're at it, you should probably change your fuel filter and reset your ECM." Life doesn't really work that way.
