Today, I sat down at my computer for the first time in a week, and discovered that my cat had thrown up all over my keyboard. I needed to write up an important document but the chunks were stuck down in the keys, effectively locking it up and making it useless. FML

Today, I managed to accidentally drop an entire cake on my laptop's keyboard. There's so much frosting stuck under the keys, I have no idea how I'm going to clean it out. FML

Today, I have a keyboard that randomly jams. If it happens while I'm typing, it will spam said letter for an extended period of time, and nothing I can do makes it stop. It can happen to any key, even the spacebar. It also happens often enough that it goes from mildly convenient to really fucking annoying. FML

Today, I decided to be healthy and drink a tall glass of water whilst doing my assignment that is due in three days. I managed to spill the entire glass over my laptop. I flipped it over and used a hairdryer to dry it off. While doing that, I managed to melt my keyboard. FML

Password issues

Today, I had to log in to my computer on a projector in front of business associates at my dad's architecture firm. I typed in my username and apparently didn't hit the tab key hard enough, so I typed my password in the username box. The entire firm now knows my password is "tits123". FML

Surely there's a way of telling the software to ignore the laptop keyboard whilst buying a relatively cheap USB keyboard? Also, if you can tell the software to ignore the laptop keyboard, most computers have inbuilt onscreen keyboards that can be used by the mouse. Not ideal, but might be a decent solution. Or, you know, taking the computer to be fixed.

If the caps lock key was stuck, turning the computer off and on WOULD fix it, seeing as the FML's text does not alternate between lowercase and uppercase. That and there's an invention called the shift key. Dumbass.
