it sounds like a bad reaction to it. Sounds like she freaked - maybe when she's had time to think it over? But I think it was incredibly unfair of her to react like that - it takes a lot of guts to ask someone to marry you.
her age is also seems part time OP..sounds just 16...
Someone needs to be taken down a peg, and it's not OP.
Dont think shes the one, mate.
32 is not old nor should she conform to the concept of marriage just because she's now in her 30s. You can get married beyond your 30s. Regardless of her working at a grocery store, from the sounds of it, she's trying to make a career evolve and working part time at a store is a temporary thing. I could be wrong, which if so, I apologise
You've now seen her priorities and you obviously don't like them. This is a golden opportunity. Run.
Looks like someone who you'll have to wait another 32 before she matures....should probably move on.
Tell her thanks for not ruining yours and ended the relationship there.

That sounds like a bad excuse. Maybe she's just not ready for that kind of commitment yet. It IS a pretty big deal. Hope you're both okay and that it won't ruin the relationship :)
Sounds like a textbook rejection excuse if you ask me. You may want to rethink wanting to be with someone that can't even be honest with why she doesn't want marriage.
