cgregg01 tells us more.
As the OP, I find all of this absolutely hilarious!! To address a few questions/comments: the pull-up was the one she was wearing when she was put to bed - she doesn't wear them any other time. I was monitoring her over the one-way baby monitor we have with the volume on full blast, but the pull-up slides up and down, no noise or anything, so that is how she was able to do her stealth-painting. As for being able to get into other things, we keep all of our chemicals in an upper cabinet, no worries there. Plus, if she'd have actually come out of her room without me hearing her, my dog would have ratted her out in a heartbeat! For the pissy commenters, good for you that you are so better at everything than everyone else, your mother must be proud of how nasty and judgemental she's raised you to be. As for those other parents that understand, thank you for being able to find the humor in this disgusting situation with me. If she was doing this daily, I'd be concerned, but since this has so far been a one time thing, I think boredom and wanting the soiled pull-up off her is what caused her to be so...umm...creative. And btw, she drew dinosaurs, her current fascination. And yes, I did a great job cleaning it up after I finished gagging and smearing vicks vaporub all around my nostrils.

This happens to me with my son three times, and my mother said I "fingerpainted" and found the "paint" between my front teeth!! FML indeed!!
Yeah, three is too damn old to be ******** in a diaper come to think of it. Get off your ass and potty train the kid before you **** it's mind up. Are you still breastfeeding too? Go to a therapist you nutjob!!
your three year old still wears diapers? :(
Your 3 year old is still in diapers LOL ever heard of potty training?
I decided to ask around my office. The consensus is this: Three years old is NOT too old to be wearing diapers, especially if it's only to nap. I heard everything from 1.5 to 4.5 years from the folks in my office. Another interesting observation was that it's harder to train the first child, because after that, the younger siblings imitate the older ones . So they "get it" a little easier. I totally sympathize, cgregg, especially on the point about needing a nap. More than once, I've curled up on the couch and napped while my two-year-old watched Bugs Bunny snuggled up next to me. After a hard day's work, I got to rest, and she enjoyed both the cartoons and some "Daddy time", especially since I was refreshed when I woke up and we could go play outside. (When she got bored of the cartoons, she would jump down, which would wake me up. Worked pretty well.) #135 / Misanthropist: You are aptly named. Go away and be glad your parents had kids. Just because you don't have the guts to do it doesn't make us idiots. I love my daughters and they love me. But you'll never know about that. Go back to your lonesome life.
All my kids (4) were potty trained by 2 years old. YDI, she's probably still Carrying a Baba around sucking on it. You DON'T Lay down for a ******* nap with a 3 yo that you aren't monitoring, which if you had to "Track Down" her and the smell you weren't. You're a great mother...NOT.
this is why children should be potty trained by age 3!!
